Christmas CD

I know two days after Halloween and I'm talking about Christmas music. What's worst is I'm actually listening to it as I type this. But, I loved this idea last year and I wanted to pass it on early so you can get the jump on the holidays.
Okay, last year Oprah gave away a few of her favorite Christmas songs on her web site for twenty four hours for anyone to download. So I did, and then I added to it, (she only had five songs I think) and made a Christmas CD to give away as hostess gifts. It was a huge hit and I had family and friends asking for them. Now, I hope this isn't going to send me to prison but (I did purchase the ones I added) and I made copies of CD and added my own art work for a cover and tied pretty bows & a gift tag around the case when I needed a Christmas hostess gift, party favor or fun treat from someone. So, for the record (in case I need to use this in my court case) I followed Oprah's directions and download her few favorites to share (she said to share) and did add some of our fav's to.
Our Christmas CD was of the following (feel free to use our list to make Christmas CD's or maybe this has inspired you to make your own list up to.) Send me your favorite Christmas songs.

Christmas Songs
1. I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas - Gayla Peevey (my children love this song, it's HARD not to sing along).
2.All I want for Christmas is you - Katie Armiger (who doesn't love this song)
3. Pennies from Heaven - Louis Prima (my daughters favorite)
4. Santa Baby - Taylor Swift (Oprah)
5. Hard Candy Christmas - Dolly Parton (gotta love Dolly)
6. Baby it's Cold Outside - Dean Martin (My personal favorite)
7. Oiche Chiun (Silent Night) - Enya (Oprah's list, but oh so pretty)
8. Feliz Navidad - Jose Feliciano (it's Texas, you gotta have this one)
9. Here Comes Santa Claus - Elvis Presley (Oprah, but you can't have Christmas music without Elvis)
10.Run Rudolph Run - Chuck Berry (Oprah, the children love it)
11.Last Christmas - Ashley Tisdale (Oprah)
12. The Prayer - Josh Groban (not exactly Christmas, but who cares it's beautiful)
